I acknowledge the people of the Boonwurrung language group of the Eastern Kulin Nation, on whose stolen land I work and study. I pay my respect to their elders past and present, as well as to any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who may be visiting this site today. I acknowledge their custodianship of and ongoing connection to the land and waters. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
